T. Austin Finch House

A 1921 Renaissance Revival mansion in the middle of historic downtown Thomasville, hand-carved rosewood library included — formal, a little grand, and always a good room to fill with sound.

The 7,000-square-foot mansion sits on 1.5 acres in the middle of historic downtown Thomasville. The first floor's four main rooms handle up to 100 guests indoors, while the outdoor cobblestone terrace — covered by a large tent — extends capacity to around 200. The library, with hand-carved rosewood walls, seats up to 70, and the Carriage House out back has its own full-service bar and indoor dance floor.

A formal historic mansion calls for a different feel than a barn or industrial loft — this is a room where the sound should feel considered, not loud for its own sake. With the Carriage House as a separate dance-floor space, we plan for a changeover rather than one system covering both the dinner and the dance.
